This is set of modules for all installation, repair service, maintenance applications. All other modules listed are add on’s to provide additional functions if the customer requires those features. Work Order includes the basic functions from opening a work order, entering parts, labor and generating an invoice. Equipment can be added and tracked within the module for historical purposes. Day-end and periodic processing and complete historical reporting are included.
Dispatch Work Order Manager
Provides the front end to the Work Order Processing module from when the request for work is made until everything is completed. This module provides different functions to support a wide variety of procedures required by our customers. The software has the flexibility to support a wide range of processes to our customers. Even those in the same industry use the software differently. The two major factors that control what functions are required by a customer, are the # of personnel involved and procedures they follow. The decisions and paths a work order can take concerning who, what, how and when, require features such as work order statuses, scheduling, assigning a tech or crew and tracking of the arrive/depart times, on screen information, etc. All of which can be handled with this application.
Preventive and Scheduled Maintenance
Adds the functions to Work Order processing for setting up both scheduled and preventive maintenance’s with the ability to attach them to specific pieces of equipment. This module also provides automatic work order creation along with the associated reports. Work orders can be created based on time or specific dates. There are no limits to the number of maintenances that can be performed on equipment. Reports are used to determine what work orders will be created so that only those work orders that can be done are actually opened.
Professional Time Manager
The Time Entry module has 3 major uses for entering labor/time on to the Work Order Plus application. Telephone Support for technicians to account for each call made to a customer. Second, people who have field techs filling out daily time sheets. Third, is entry of management’s time, which then allows all actual hours to be entered for all employees of the company, giving a true productivity report.
Purchase Order Interface
This module allows items ordered through Purchase Order to be added directly to a work order and cut entry time in half. Many service businesses order parts (both stock and non stock) specifically for work orders. Using this application provides the feature to have parts entered only once and are assures them of getting to the correct work order. If parts are deleted from a P.O. they are also removed from the work order. Beyond these two benefits, costs are correct, and customers can have updated information on each work order. An Open Order Report in Purchase Order can be run to determine what parts are still missing to complete the job. This increases the efficiency of employee use by knowing when to schedule the work.
Service Contract and Job Cost
One of the most powerful modules in our product line this application can be used for a wide variety of functions where there is a contractual obligation to a customer. Depending on the structure, definition, and rules of the contracts features provide tracking for the following. Service & Maintenance Contracts, Extended Warranties, Contracted Hours of services, Project & Job Tracking and costing. This allows our customers who open multiple work orders for larger jobs to be tracked as part of a total project or job. Typically used by our customers who do installation and construction type work in conjunction with the sales/service of their products this application adds many unique features while maintaining a single entry point for all work order related information.
