It is easy and they really put a lot of thought into the program, but there are also lots of things unfinished. For general book keeping it is sure a good choice, even though some flaws will drive you crazy, especially during tax season. Support is good as long as you have the right person on the phone. If you ask me if I would buy it again, the answer is no.
They put a lot of farmers’ thoughts into the program, and the add ons like crop and cattle manager. But lots of these really good things are still unfinished in programming.
Accounts receivable gives you hardly choices to ‘create’ your stile of invoice. Some reports offered don’t work, and when tax season comes and you want to print W2s etc the options are really poor, the forms are not uploaded into the program so you have to monkey around with the printer adjustment which is just eating up valuable time.

The ability to attach invoices to checks is no longer available. I have been told they are working on it for 8 months now. The crop and field manager has glitches, so we have not been able to use it, and we paid extra for it. I have been asking for years for the ability to attach a PDF and it’s never materialized.
Easy to use with no formal accounting experience needed. Love the simplicity of entering transactions into one window and little to no journal entries. I like that I am able to have multiple ledgers and also multiple checkbooks.
Tech support is always helpful when I call for questions. Very knowledgeable about the program as well as basic accounting questions that I have.
I wish I could import documents and receipts. Wish there was an app for the entire program that was iPhone friendly, currently only android.
Nice program, but needs to be finished. All sorts of quirks that are continually promised to be fixed but never seem to get done. The crop and field manager don’t sum properly. After buying this add-on, don’t even use due to errors! They need more programmers to finish this product.

Clean up crop and field manager! Fix all of the little nuances, intermittent errors. Have crop and field manager reports that are lined up in columns in PDF format!
This is the best software program I have used for our crop, and cow calf operation. Simple to use and understand. Easy to set up.
When I first started with Easy Farm back in the early 90’s I had a lot of questions. The folks at support are fantastic. I still have a question from time to time and they are as helpful now as they where in the very begining.
Since I got a larger computer screen I’m having a bit of difficulty getting my screen sized to my liking.
This program has a moderate learning curve, but the company’s technical support is very helpful. The more I use it, the more I appreciate this farm accounting software.
What I like best is that this software is developed for farmers.
I’ve had two different accounts not total correctly at the end of the year; could be user-error.
