StarShip is a small parcel and LTL shipping software that connects to ERP and eCommerce options to streamline shipping, accounts receivable, and customer service.
First and foremost, technical support is among the worst I’ve ever seen in a company. It’s surprising, because their previous beast - ShipGear - was pretty good. After switching to StarShip, nothing but problems daily. Often times it takes them upwards of a whole week to respond and fix an issue that completely stops shipment. Their cloud-based portal is ultra slow and their mapping system is convoluted. When requesting assistance, often the support cannot identify what is causing a problem. I definitely do not care for this service at all.

Implementation was a nightmare, and their customer support is mediocre at best. They don’t follow-up with anything, and talk to me like I’m an idiot when I email them. Half the time I call their support team and know more than they do. I hardly ever get a response that’s actually helpful. If you have a Shopify site- forget it. If you have multiple items on one listing, it can only recognize it as one item. You also can’t set up auto-mapping for package sizes if you have products that are different sizes.
