PROPHIX for SQL Server

PROPHIX for SQL Server, is a suite of products that are tightly integrated, highly scalable and support many aspects of Performance Management. PROPHIX for SQL Server™ empowers organizations to create measurable targets against their business strategies in order to ensure that their corporate objectives and strategies are met.

Server Requirements

Before you can install and use PROPHIX, your server(s) must meet the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

• Operating System
  • Windows Server 2003 with latest updates Database
• Database
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition with sp4 (Included with PROPHIX)
  • Microsoft Analysis Services with sp4 (Included with PROPHIX)
  • Note: These databases may reside on separate machines. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services are included with PROPHIX
• Memory
  • 2 GB (4 GB recommended) Note: The minimum requirement depends on the model complexity and number of concurrent users

Client Requirements

The PROPHIX client is installed on the user's workstation. The system must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows XP with latest updates
• Memory
  • 128 MB
• Other
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
• Processor
  • Dual Pentium 4, 2.0 GHz (Quad recommended for larger data sets, which require more processing power)
• Hard disk space/ Drives
  • 5 GB per model
  • DVD-ROM drive

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 or 6.0
  • Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ)
