For over three decades Micro Craft Inc. has worked with thousands of law firms to incorporate solutions for their clients needs. Founded in 1978, our original time & billing system was a unique collaborative effort, involving NASA engineers and a law firm wishing to automate its manual tracking of time and production of billing statements. The success of that original Verdict® system, along with a groundswell of word-of-mouth and a series of ads running in The American Bar Association Journal led to Verdict becoming the first and most successful PC-based software of its type on the market.

Our Legal Series software has now grown to include:

• CheckWrite 8 integrates to both Verdict for billing and General Ledger. Client costs are automatically sent to Verdict, and all other entries are sent to General Ledger when posted.
• With Docket 9, you can create appointments and schedules, and can turn those into billable entries. You send those entries to Verdict, our time and billing package, with one click.
• Verdict imports your CheckWrite, Docket, and LegalPad entries for billing. You can create custom templates in Verdict for new clients. This makes It quick and easy to add a new client account with its own special settings for billing. Use multiple billing rate tables or a timekeeper's default rate, based on the settings and templates you choose. You can make your own categories, transaction codes, or use the included ABA code sets. You can also run custom reports on all of the above. See our website for more details.
• General Ledger takes in your CheckWrite and Verdict entries which includes Docket and LegalPad items. It is very flexible as well. Manual entries and adjustments can be made easily.
• LegalPad is a scaled down version of Verdict to allow timekeepers to create and see only their own reports/entries and send them to Verdict for billing.

Verdict, General Ledger and Docket can also all be used as stand alone products.

Micro Craft Support is always optional. You receive 30 Days of unlimited support Free by your choice of phone and email with a new purchase or update. Support is available to talk with you by phone on a per call basis, or with a support contract, email/phone support is unlimited for the year.
