Icon Systems

Icon Systems is a major provider of church management solutions for churches and other faith-based organizations (IE: non profit) and has made its most notable contribution to the church management software industry with its RIA application for the Internet. Icon Systems is the first solution provider to provide a solution that works over the Internet and the only requirement on the user's part is a PC/MAC computer with an Internet connection which can even be a dial up connection. Icon Systems provides both Web and Windows based church management software.

The company was founded in 1992 by Robert Gifford, who previously headed research and development for Great Plains Software and helped create Great Plains Accounting and Dynamics, two highly popular accounting software systems.
