FinancialForce Billing is a native Force.com application designed to streamline the invoicing process. Create invoices in one click straight from any object on the salesforce platform. All the billing data (eg Price and products) is pulled from salesforce, so no need for re-keying, spreadsheets or special integrations. Invoices can be created in batch or on a schedule. The system auto-generates general ledger account codes for you or you can edit the codes before saving it as final.
You also have the option of seeing customer payments through the use of FinancialForce 360 by posting back payment detail from your legacy A/R systems. Sales, support and customer services can all (if given permissions) see what invoices haven’t been paid and can collaborate across the business via Chatter to help collect cash.
This app shares account objects with Salesforce, so any changes to contact information only need to be edited by the customer facing staff in the CRM once and are automatically reflected in the invoice detail.
After invoicing, G/L and A/R data can be posted into the FinancialForce GL or any ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Great Plains and Navision
