HR Premier; Payroll includes comprehensive tracking of general ledger activity. Once you set up the Chart of Accounts within Payroll and assign the appropriate general ledger accounts to each pay code, tax code and voluntary deduction code, you can report general ledger activity for each timeframe. As each payroll is run all payroll-related expenses and payables from employees, independent contractors, pensioners, and third parties are summarized for general ledger distribution. As each handwritten paycheck is created all payroll-related expenses and payables are summarized for general ledger distribution.
