CSO began as a payroll and accounting service bureau in the late ’60’s servicing more than 400 contractors in the challenging NYC metropolitan area. Systems were developed to handle companies with from 2- 6000 employees.

In the early 80’s, with the advent of the personal computer, CSO took on the role of software development for and installation of software for mid-size servers and PC’s.

As operating systems matured, we reworked our software to run exclusively on servers over high-speed DSL, cable, or satellite connections. That is presently our business model. While we still support customers we have had for over 25 years, we believe the future lies with online computing.
