Import/Export

  • Import/export inventory and customer records from/to the following file formats:
    • CSV (comma-separated text) – opens easily in any spreadsheet program
    • TXT (tab-delimited text)
    • TTX (tagged text, similar to QuickBooks IIF format)
    • DBF (native FoxPro or dBase database format)
  • Reusable Import Templates let you easily control how import file fields are mapped into Artisan fields.
    • The import filename and all mapping options are saved in the Template for easy re-use later.
    • Particularly useful for importing catalog updates from vendors.
  • See “Accounting” for info on exports to Accounting Programs like QuickBooks & Peachtree Accounting.
  • Export Sales Counts to Nielsen SoundScan. (Requires Deluxe Feature Pack & account w/Nielsen.)
    • Export Sales Data to Management One for Open-To-Buy. (Requires Deluxe Feature Pack & account w/Management One.)
