Light2 is comprehensive financial and project cost accounting software for service oriented, labor intensive, organizations. It has been approved by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) at user sites across the US.

Light2 is “Cycle” based, providing users with unprecedented flexibility in the design of their systems. All “modules”, ranging from AP and AR to Fixed Assets accounting are included - as is complete job costing and payroll. Our fully embedded electronic timekeeping software, C'estTime, can be “activated” by users at the time of their Light2 purchase or at any later time. Additionally, embedded “Collaborative“ functionality can be activated at any time.

Light2 supports user-defined cost structures and includes a ”Wizard“ for building indirect cost rate structures. Indirect cost rates ranging from Fringe Benefits to General and Administrative (G&A) to Material Handling rates can be utilized for any number of Division or Cost Centers, and for any work-breakdown-structure scenario(s). Indirect cost rates are can be computed and applied to projects at any time. Alternatively, users can compute actual indirect cost rates and apply ”budgeted“ indirect costs to projects.

Full Ad Hoc report writing capability along with the ability to export all accounting data in a variety of formats is included. This same Ad Hoc reporting capability is available in all of Light2's ”Cycles“ - from ”Employees“ to ”Vendor & Names“ through ”Maintain Projects“.

All Light2 license purchases include a copy of Light2RD, our data warehousing application that provides ”Read Only“ access and full reporting ”off-line“. This application can be freely distributed within your organization or to your outside accountants, etc.
