The Production Order Document contains all of the information needed to produce products. It can include anything, including materials, employees, documents, schedules, and all other important information.

Production Orders can be quickly created by importing other pre-existing documents, such as Sales Plans, Production Plans, BOMs, and others. Once a Production Order is created, you can carry out the tasks of scheduling resources, reserving materials, requisitioning materials, and estimating costs.

Because a Production Order is like any other UA Document, it contains row level security. This means that while there may be hundreds of active Production Orders, only authorized employees can manage particular documents.
